On Saturday 11th July a crack team of Hurst Pretenders were more than happy to be invited to introduce the beautiful (walking) game to the good people of Wivelsfield, as part of their fun-packed annual village fete. Two high-scoring demonstrations ensued with great enjoyment and entertainment all round, with skillful refereeing from Russell Baker, and with support and commentary from John Cook’s colleagues at Mid Sussex Radio. We hope it was a great advert for our growing sport, and would of course love to be asked back again next year.
